Another gospel LP I found this weekend was by Tommy Ellison and the Five Singing Stars of Brooklyn, N.Y. titled Come Home, released on HSE Records in 1974.
I couldn’t find this album on any streaming services but I did find their great song, The Crossroads, posted above.
Tommy passed away in 2009 but his legacy lives on in new groups like the one below. Just wait for the dance move at 2:15!
Again, I’d love to find a way to reissue this music to streaming services. Put that down for a long term goal, ha.
