The above photo was taken in a Goodwill last weekend where I found a copy of Lifesavers’ A Kiss of Life LP.
I almost skipped this particular Goodwill because it hasn’t had much to offer in my thrifting adventures as of late. But, it’s on my way home so I stopped in just in case.
I was so excited to find this LP that I actually yelled “Yes!” when I found it.
Lifesavers features Mike Knott, a sort of renegade CCM/Christian artist who I’ve been a fan of for years. I just bought a solo Mike Knott LP two weeks ago and pledged on Kickstarter to reissue his album The Grape Prophet.
Finding this original 1986 pressing of A Kiss of Life made all of my thrift shopping worth it. I spend every weekend digging through stacks of records in thrift stores, usually finding very little. I still can’t believe I found this LP.
