Rancid announced they were playing in Nashville this May which is exciting news since it’s been close to twenty years since I saw them last.
Rancid is one of those bands that keeps popping back up in my life. They never go away.
One song that I play loudly in the car whenever I’m feeling a little beat down by life is Last One To Die.
We got it right, you got wrong
We’re still around (Last one to die)
We’re going up, you’re going down
We’re still around (Last one to die)
I rarely listen to this song just one time through…I skip back to the beginning and play it again. It’s that good.
In today’s constant struggle for upward mobility usually resulting in burnout, I fully support celebrating anyone who has managed to stay around.
