This week I received an email from the Internet Archive stating they have reformatted over 50,000 78 RPM sides from the Boston Public Library archives as part of their Great 78 Project.
I always scan the titles for what sounds like it would be interesting to hear and stumbled on a title, Don’t Let’s Be Beastly to the Germans by Noel Coward:

According to Wikipedia, the composition a satirical song popular during World War II. Evidently Churchill requested multiple encores of the tune after hearing it performed. But the song wasn’t received well by the general public and was eventually banned by the BBC.
If you find yourself in a musical rut and listening to the same things over and over, jump over to the Great 78 Project and click around to hear many more interesting songs from the past.
