I love McIntosh audio gear and was fortunate enough to buy a C-26 preamp and MC-2505 amplifier last year from a friend for my home audio set up. The comments I receive from people always reference the beautiful bright blue meters on the MC-2505 amp.
While researching various McIntosh products, I discovered at one time they also produced audio products for vehicles! And you could have those same beautiful blue meters in your car thanks to the MPM4000 Power Output Meter.

My quick search online found the MPM4000 for $500 and the MX4000 for $1,600 so these would not be cheap parts to install even today. But in today’s market when new cars no longer have CD players, opting instead for streaming systems, how cool would be it to have these McIntosh units in your car?
