Happy Little Accidents

I’m still learning how to shoot with my Canon AE-1 film camera. The most recent roll of film I developed came back with the surprising image above.

Taken in my front yard, one foggy morning, there is a light leak that adds just the right amount of eerie texture to the photo.

I posted on Instagram and a few people asked me, “How did you do this?” to which I simply quoted the great Bob Ross, “We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents.”
